Age of Rocks

In science, we are learning about the age of new and old rock sediments on land and in the ocean.  We saw that all the new sediments in the ocean are in the middle, while all the old sediments are on the outer parts and closer to the continents. But the oldest land sediments are spread out everywhere, so they can be in the middle or the sides, etc.

The oldest ocean sediments are 180 million years old, while the oldest rocks on land are 3501million years old which is equal to 3.5 billion years old. That shows that the land is older than the ocean. I think the reason why the ages of the land rocks are different from the ocean floor rocks is because when the continents started drifting and separating from each other, new rocks formed on the ocean floor.

Target

Airplanes flying low, smoke and fire everywhere, and destruction of the twins falling down. That was nine-eleven. It was the tragedy that shook the entire world and the time where many lives were lost trying to save the innocent.Tears fled from people’s eyes like a stream and hearts were slowly tearing apart as loved ones were getting torn apart from them.
